Short Bio
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Production Engineering at Aarhus University. I lead the Lifecycle Design & Manufacturing research group. The group's current research is focused on the following themes
Sustainability-focused design & ideation-support tools in engineering
Visualization & analytics tools for product lifecycle information
Data-driven process modeling for sustainable manufacturing
Integrated circularity & sustainability assessment for engineering products
Multi-criteria decision-making and technology assessment for supporting sustainable development goals
Incorporating sustainability nto undergraduate education through guided discovery instruction

I have over 30 peer-reviewed publications in conferences and journals, including the Journal of Mechanical Design, Computer-aided Design, Association for Computing Machinery Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, and Tangible, Embedded, and Embodied Interaction. I also have two patent applications on sustainability-based visualization techniques in collaboration with TATA Innovation Labs, USA. My work has received the best award in the American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) International Design Engineering Technical Conference.
